Steven Rough, Co-Founder

Chairman, Hope Mountain Foundation; Executive Director, Hope Mountain Center

Steven felt God calling him to be a full-time missionary in the Philippines several years before finishing his 32-year career as a Civil Engineer at Merced County Department of Public Works.  In 2017, Steven and his wife Ellisa moved to Cebu, Philippines to begin the groundwork for developing Hope Mountain Center.  Steven’s faith in God and his work as a public servant prepared him with the ability and temperament to coordinate with the numerous government agencies responsible for permitting and licensing Hope Mountain Center.  Steven is committed to continuing his work with Hope Mountain Center until God releases him.
